| Exelon Nuclear - Clinton Administration Building This project was an 80,000 SF, $15.5 million new admistration building for Exelon Nuclear in Clinton, IL. This three-story building consists of a steel structure with a concrete foundation and precast support. This project is certified as a LEED silver project. RJC worked with Henneman to establish LEED points and certification. The concept of LEED on this project was established after the project began, causing RJC to act quickly in the midst of design to change aspects of the building to meet LEED criteria. | Rockford Christian High School Ringland-Johnson was the Design-build contractor with RJ+design, the Architect. The project was a 26,000 SF addition with a connecting link to the existing Rockford Christian School in Rockford, Illinois. The addition incuded an auditorium, science labs and a computer lab. Total construction cost was $4.5 million. The project included green components, including solar panels, a wind turbine, a green roof, and solar heating. The project is LEED certified....[more] |
